Also, just a plothole (though I doubt you haven't realized it) aren't Super Mutants asexual? Wouldn't that make his romantic feelings harder to obtain and manage? I don't know if romantic feelings are specifically attatched to sexual attraction or not, but it would be really interesting if you were to show their romance in a completely intellectual and emotional way, rather than using any sexual stuff in their romance. Just an idea.
